Donald D. "Ike" Weber, Sr., 79, of Martins Ferry, OH died, Thurs., Feb. 9, 2006 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born Sept. 16, 1926 in Martins Ferry a son of the late George H. Weber Sr. and Mary (Delbrugge) Weber. He was a retired home builder and manager of the former George Weber and Sons Feed Store of Martins Ferry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, WWII and a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Elks Lodge #895 both of Martins Ferry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Mark T. Weber, a brother George H. Weber, and a sister Louise Weber Lynn. Surviving are his wife, Martha (Thompson) Weber, a son Donald (Tammy) Weber, Jr. of St. Clairsville, OH, a daughter Karen (Leo) Marks of Murrells Inlet, S.C., a brother John W. (Carolyn) Weber of Orient, OH, and a grandson Toby Weber. Friends will be received Mon. 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Tues., Feb. 14, 2006 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Dr. Bill N. Lawrence officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Deacons of the Church will hold services Monday at 7:30 PM in the funeral home.
