Donna Kay Bess, 71 of Shadyside passed away Tuesday, December 21,2021 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born March 1, 1950, in Martins Ferry, she was a daughter of the late Willard and Doris (Buchanan) Cordery. She was Methodist by faith.

Donna's greatest job was taking care of her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her special fur babies.

Surviving is her husband John T. Bess Jr. son John T. Bess III of Shadyside, daughter Stacey (Joseph) McCutcheon of Bellaire, grandchildren; Lilah, Brittany (Chad)Nixon, Tiffany Leigh (Fiancé Nathan Tinstman), great-grandchildren; Taylor, Abbie, Jordyn, Kasyn, Peyton, Caleb, Hudson, and Jessie. Sister; Kimberly Harsher of Wheeling, Donald Cordery of Bellaire, Robert Cordery of Martins Ferry, and Gary Cordery of Wheeling, along with her Yorkie fur babies Mitzi and Taz.

All services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Wilson Funeral Home of Brookside is assisting the family.
