Donna C. Long Donna C. (Shepard) Long, 89, formerly of Grant Ave., Martins Ferry, OH died Sat., Apr. 12, 2003 at Woodsfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Woodsfield, OH. She was born April 16, 1913 in Barnesville, OH a daughter of the late Freda N. Ellis Shepard Stein and Everett O. Shepard. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles B. Long and a sister Nina Lee Shepard. Surviving are a daughter Karen Sue Richmond of Jerusalem, OH, a granddaughter Jennifer Richmond-Johnson and her husband Harold of Woodsfield, a great grandson Jaren Johnson, a niece Edna Lee Taylor and her husband Dick of Martins Ferry, a great nephew Sam Taylor, several nieces and nephews, a very close friend Marcia Shriver of Jerusalem, and a life long friend Reba McMahon of Shadyside. Friends will be received Mon. 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry where services will be held Tues., April 15, 2003 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Bill N. Lawrence officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
