Donna D. Michaels, 93, of Palm Beach, Fl, formerly of Yorkville, OH died Tues., Nov. 8, 2005 at home. She was born Feb. 24, 1912 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Nicholas (Mikasinovich) and Martha (Mamula) Michaels. Donna started her teaching career at Yorkville and Tiltonsville and retired from Steubenville High School where she taught Chemistry and Physics and held the position of Student Counselor. She was a member of the Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church of Steubenville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Michael Mikasinovich Michaels, and three sisters Anne Rebb, Mildred Michaels and Mary Michaels. Surviving are a sister B. Amelia "Boots" Michaels of Palm Beach, FL, a niece Carole (Jack) Lane of Marsing, ID, two great nieces Sharon (Kylan) Cooper of Marsing, ID and Denise Lane of Dayton, WA, and great great nieces and nephews Isaac, Kayla, Tyhra, Melanie, and Mia. Friends will be received Mon., Nov. 14, 2005 from 9 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM with Fr. F. Rade Merick officiating at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Entombment follows in the family mausoleum at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.
