Doris Jean Jenkins Conaway 84 of Lansing died Sunday April 12, 2015 at her home. She was born January 24, 1931 in Benwood, WV, a daughter of the late Charles A. and Doris C. Steen Logston Jenkins. She was a retired Administrator Manager for Etna Life and Casualty Co. she attended Lansing Methodist Church, a member of the O.E.S. Bridgeport, a former member of Bridgeport Village Council, a charter member of Bridgeport Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Aux. and a graduate of Wheeling High School Class of 1948. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband John "Jack" C. Conaway, brothers Jack C. and Charles N. Jenkins, a grandson Jeff Dougherty, and a great granddaughter McKenna McCort. Doris is survived by a son R. Michael Conaway, daughters Pamela C. (John) Dougherty of Sacramento, CA. Kathleen (Bill) Shanks of Bridgeport, and Jacklyn (David) Russell of Colerain, seven grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
