DORIS L. CORDERY, 77, of Martins Ferry, died Saturday, October 4, 2008 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born August 11, 1931 in Harmony, PA, the daughter of the late Sheridan and Sarah (Herr) Buchannan. Doris was a waitress at the former Sparky's Dinner Bell in Wheeling and at the Tropicana Club on Wheeling Island. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Willard Cordery, Sr.; a daughter Linda Mesko; a sister Betty Kelly and a grandson Robert Kelly. Doris is survived by two sons Buck and Donnie Cordery both of Martins Ferry; three daughters Barbara Kelly of East Palestine, OH, Donna Bess of Shadyside and Kimberly Harsher of Martins Ferry; two brothers Robert Cordery of Martins Ferry and Gary Cordery of Wheeling; fourteen grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Interment and services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
