Doris M. (Hanson) Frantz, 85, of S. Zane Hwy., Martins Ferry, OH died Friday, July 14, 2006 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. She was born Mar. 5, 1921 in Martins Ferry a daughter of the late John Hanson and Gertrude (Goff) Hanson Thoburn. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Martins Ferry and Bridgeport Chap. #452 Order of Eastern Star. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James L. "Jack" Frantz, two brothers Harold and Jim Thoburn, and two sisters Nancy Crace and Ethel Celestino. Surviving are two daughters Jackie (Ray) Lude of Martins Ferry and Karen (Russ) Beaman of Clarksville, VA, two brothers Robert (Rosemary) Thoburn of Vienna, VA and Carl "Bud" (Nancy) Thoburn of Sterling, VA, three sisters Jean (Dean) Rinkes of Harrisville, Betty Zamski of Dillonvale, and Lavinia Dunn of Phoenix, AZ, three grandchildren Jason (Jackie) Lude and Jonathan (Erin) Lude all of Colerain and Bethany Beaman of Columbus, and five great grandchildren Alexander, Hunter, Alizabeth, Danielle, and Addison Lude. Friends will be received Monday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at 11:00 AM with Rev. John P.
