Doris Jean Beckett 66, of Martins Ferry, passed away Sunday September 20, 2020 at Valley Hospice West Steubenville. She was born March 9, 1954 in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late George L and Helen M. (Ennis) Howard.

She was retired cook for Wheeling Downs Racetrack, and a Methodist by faith.

Doris is survived by a sister Sharon Harris and her fiancée Dan Phillips of Martins Ferry, and a brother John T. "Butch" Howard.

According to Doris's wishes there will be no visitation and private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside assisting the family.
