Doris E. Mason 83 of Bellaire formally of Bridgeport died Thursday June 9, 2011 at Liza's Place Wheeling. She was born July 26, 1927 in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Marcellus and Martha Mattie Rivers Wilson. She was a retired Housekeeping Supervisor for Ohio Valley General Hospital, and a member of Wayman AME Church Wheeling also a member of the Brobumble Aux., the Stewardess Board of the Church, the American Legion Aux. Post 89, and the Usher Board. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond L. Mason Sr. five sons Otis Copeland, James, Dwight, and Anthony, and Raymond Mason Jr., and three daughters Beverly Ann Copeland, Martha and Linda Mason, three brothers Gerlwood, James and Marcellus "Poonie" Wilson, and a sister JoAnn Moore. Surviving are a son Daniel R. Mason of Wheeling two daughters Jo Rae Blanchard and Betty Jean Griffin both of Bellaire, a brother William Wilson of Cleveland, fourteen grandchildren, and twenty three great grand children. Friend will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Saturday June 11, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and then on Sunday at the Wayman AME Church 1136 Eoff St. Wheeling from 2 pm till time of service at 3 pm with the Rev. John Stephens officiating interment in Weeks Cemetery Bridgeport.
