Doris K. (McMillan) Kessler, 87, of S. Zane Hwy., Martins Ferry, OH died Sat., Feb. 19, 2005 at Heartland Lansing Nursing Home, Bridgeport, OH. She was born Jul. 24,1917 in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late James and Emma (Curfman) McMillan. She was retired from the former Imperial Clevite Corp., Bridgeport, OH, and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers Thomas, John, and James McMillan. Surviving are her husband Jack Kessler, and a sister Jane Santa and her husband Joseph of Torrence, CA. Friends will be received Tues 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wed., Feb. 23, 2005 at noon with Fr. Thomas Magary officiating. Entombment follows in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, Martins Ferry. Rosary devotions will be recited Tues. at 3:00 PM in the funeral home.
