Dorothy L. (Capito) Edwards, 84 of Bridgeport passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, December 2, 2021. She was born on November 29, 1937, in Bellaire, Ohio the daughter of the late Albert E. and Willard Lee Capito Biggs.

Dorothy was retired from the Bridgeport School District as an Assistant Guidance Counselor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Albert "Lonnie" Edwards, brother, James Capito, and sister Betty Wilson.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters; Rosalyn Donaldson of Wintersville and Dianne Jackson of Bridgeport, brother; Edward Capito of Wintersville. 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchild and 1 great-great grandchild complete her family.

In keeping with Dorothy's wishes all services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
