Dorothy C. Maguire Dorothy C. "Dot" Milburn Maguire, 89, of S. Fourth St., Martins Ferry, OH died Mon., Feb. 10, 2003 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Long Term Care, Martins Ferry. She was born Oct. 22, 1913 in Baltimore, MD a daughter of the late Martin R. and Ellen Kampe Milburn. She was an employee of the former Fenray Theater of Martins Ferry. Dorothy was a very active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Martins Ferry where she was a charter member of the Adult Choir and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She was also a member of the Community Lenten Choir of Martins Ferry, and a charter member of the Ohio Valley Chorale and the Martins Ferry Firemen's Auxiliary. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Morgan R. "Mogie" Maguire and a brother John Milburn. Surviving are a daughter Raella Roth and her husband Melvin of Martins Ferry, three grandchildren including Melvin Roth, Jr. and his wife Kim and Les Roth all of Martins Ferry, and Lisa Rector and her husband Jon of Akron, and two great grandchildren including Chelsea and Lakin Roth. Friends will be received Tue. 7-9 PM and Wed. 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Thurs., Feb. 13, 2003 at 10:00 AM at St. Marys Catholic Church, with Rev. George Coyne officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry. Rosary devotions will be celebrated Wed. at 3:00 PM; Wake services at 3:30 PM; and Martins Ferry Fire Dept. Auxiliary services at 7:00 PM all in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the SMC 2000 Fund.
