Dorothy Jean Johnson, 81, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Monday, Nov. 25, 2013 at Bishop Hodges Continuous Care, Wheeling, WV. She was born Sept. 3, 1932 in Amory, MS a daughter of the late Elzie and Clara (Nunn) Johnson. She was formerly with LaBelle Nursing Home, Steubenville, OH. Dorothy attended the Apostolic Faith Temple of Martins Ferry. Surviving are two sons; James (Vickie) Johnson of Bridgeport, OH and John L. Petteeway of Steubenville, a daughter, Mary Louise Johnson of Bridgeport, three brothers; Clark Johnson of MS, David Johnson of Grand Rapids, MI and Zebert Johnson of Amory, MS, four sisters; Vivian Parker of Seaside, CA, Annie Sims of Grand Rapids, MI, Deloris Johnson of Follansbee, WV and Gracie Johnson of Amory, MS, ten grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date and time to be announced. Arrangements by Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH.
