Dorothy L. Johnston 74 of National Road Bridgeport formally of Patterson Road Brookside died Friday April 16, 2010 in Cumberland Pointe Care Center St. Clairsville. She was born November 10, 1935 in Lansing, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Vavrock) Dalto. She was retired from Bachmann Hess Bachmann& Garden Law firm as a legal secretary and a member of the Kirkwood Presbyterian Church Bridgeport. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Johnston in 2005. Dorothy is survived by three sons John of New Jersey, James and his wife Denise of Southington, Ohio and Joseph and his wife Michelle of St. Clairsville, two Brothers John Dalto and his wife Diane of Wheeling WV, and Carl Dalto of Bridgeport, four grandchildren Josh, Jace, Ryan, and Marissa. Friends will received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Monday April 19, 2010 from 5-8 pm, and on Tuesday from 10-11 am at the Kirkwood Presbyterian Church 201 Bennett St. Bridgeport, with the Rev, David Demarest officiating, interment in Linwood Cemetery Blaine. Memorial contributions may be made to Kirkwood Presbyterian Church.
