Dorothy L. Laipple 90 of Bridgeport, died Thursday December 6, 2012 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. She was born March 4, 1922 in Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late John and Amelia (Zech) Laipple. She was retired from the former Wheeling Stamping Co. Wheeling, and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Bridgeport. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Dorothy is survived by nephews Paul (Mariann) Goodwin of Chardon, Ohio, and Fred (Alice) Graeb of Brookside, nieces Carol, and Nancy Goodwin both of Bridgeport, Dorothy Goodwin of Bellaire, Else Huggins of Glen Dale, WV, and Dolores Ware of Martins Ferry, several great nieces and nephews, also a very Dear Friend of 70 years Steffie Horn. Friends are invited to a celebration of Dot's life on Monday December 10, 2012 from 11 am till time of service at 1 pm, with Rev. Karen Torrez officiating, interment in Riverview Cemetery Martins Ferry.
