Dorothy Jean (McClanahan) Westfall, 85, of Martins Ferry, OH died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born November 14, 1931 in Charleston, WV as daughter of the late Rollie and Hazel (Bostic) McClanahan.

She was a retired home health associate and a member of Scotch Ridge Presbyterian Church, Martins Ferry.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank L. Westfall, brothers; Jerry, Roger and Donald McClanahan and sisters; Wanda Burdette and June Marie Bean.

Surviving are her children; Audie (Carol) Westfall of Hopedale, OH, Karen (Jim) Hoffman of Martins Ferry, Randy Westfall of Yorkville, OH, Rick (Marcie) Westfall of Mt. Pleasant, OH and Ronald Westfall of Martins Ferry, sisters; Betty Canterbury and Nancy Fogelsong both of Charleston, WV, Norma Thomas of Dry Branch, WV and Brenda (Frankie) Priddy of Pickerington, OH, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where services will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Joe Ellis officiating. Burial follows in Upland Cemetery, Yorkville, OH.
