Dorothy L. Miller 96 of Mt. Vernon, Ohio formerly of Brookside, died Wednesday October 26, 2011 in The Laurels of Mt. Vernon. She was born November 11, 1914 in Pittsburgh, PA., a daughter of the late Thomas W. Sr. and Mary Louise Williamson Lewis. She was a retired secretary of the Bridgeport School District, and a member of the Thompson Methodist Church, Wheeling Island. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband H. Clair Miller, two brothers Thomas W. Lewis Jr., and George Edward Lewis, a sister Mildred Lewis. Dorothy is survived by a son Richard "Dick" (Peggy) Miller of Howard, two grandsons Mike (Nancy) Miller of Columbus, and Tim Miller of Colorado, and a great grandson Aiden R. Miller. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Saturday October 29, 2011 from 10 am till time of service at 11 am with the Rev. Jack Yeager officiating, interment in Belmont Memorial Cemetery St. Clairsville.
