Dorothy M. (Mitchell) Oliver, 95, of Madison, NJ, formerly of Wendel, PA and Martins Ferry, died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Runnells Specialized Hospital, Berkeley Heights Twp., NJ. She was born Apr. 29, 1915 in Bridgeport, OH a daughter of the late John C. and Katie Belle (Woods) Mitchell. Dorothy was a 1933 graduate of Martins Ferry High School and a member of the Arona United Methodist Church, Arona, PA. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd E. Oliver, two brothers James O. Mitchell, and John C. Mitchell, Jr, a sister Anna Houston, a son-in-law Howard W. Albright, and a grandson Mark A. Albright. Surviving are two sons Bruce M. (Mary) Oliver of Madison, NJ and Larry E. (Pia) Oliver of Washington, PA, three daughters Joan B. (Robert) Wultsch of Arona, Barbara J. Albright of Silver Spring, MD, and Bonnie J. (William) Shaw of Marysville, OH, 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, Aug. 9, 2010 from 10am until time of services at 11:00 am with Rev. Larry Lewis officiating at Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH.
