Dorothy J. Morelli, 85, of Rayland died Wednesday January 27, 2016 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. She was born April 30, 1930 in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Clint and Jennie (Murie) Daugherty. She was a retired Nurse for Martins Ferry Hospital, and a member of S. Lucy's Catholic Church Yorkville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Henry Morelli in 1997, and two sisters Mary Warner, and Lois Knutsen. Dorothy is survived by her two daughters Sharan Gregorcic of Rayland and Mary Kolb of Virginia, two brothers John (Bonnie) Daugherty, and Ralph Daugherty both of Bowerson, Ohio, two sisters Ann (Frank) Riba of Wolfhurst, and Edna Dugan of Glen Robins, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 102 Main St. Tiltonsville on Sunday January 31, 2016 from 4-6 pm, with Vigil services will be recited at 4 pm at the Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 am at St. Lucy's Catholic Church with Fr. William Cross as celebrant, interment will be at Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove.
