Obituary

Dorothy J. Porter, 76, of Barnesville, Ohio, passed away, Monday, October 1, 2018 at Barnesville Hospital.  Born March 9, 1942 in Flushing, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late George Kitzmiller and Frances Moore Kitzmiller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her brothers, Carl and Marvin Kitzmiller. Dorothy is survived by her sons, Tim (Debbie) Porter of Barnesville, Ohio, Jim "Pete" (Robin) Porter of Galloway, Ohio; grandchildren, Matt, Megan, Derrick, and Samantha; great-granddaughter, Zoey Rose; sister, Donna Mae (Carroll) Brewer of Florida; and the families very special friend, Aunt Natalie. A homemaker, Dorothy was a loving and devoted mother who brought love and joy to her home. Family and friends are welcome to visit, Saturday from 10:00 a.m., until the time of the Memorial Service, which will begin at 11:30 a.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio.  Pastor Bob Merritt will officiate.  Interment will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Belmont County Animal Shelter, 45244 National Road, St. Clairsville, Ohio  43950. Interment

Interment will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing, Ohio.
