Dorothy Ann "PUD" Burns, Bruhn Heil, passed away July 12, 2024, at the Meadows of Cadiz Care Home. She was born in Wheeling, a daughter of the late George and Martha Bruhn. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, James (Donna) Burns. Pud graduated from Wheeling High School and was a retired bookkeeper at the law offices of Bachmann, Hess, Bachmann, and Garden. Surviving is her husband, Bruce Heil, three children, Cynthia (Jeffrey) Siegwart, Jamie Burns, William (Jennifer) Burns; five grandchildren, Erica Gump, Angie Smith, James Allen Derr, Hayley Johnson, and Sydni Harvey; six great- grandchildren, Adrianna Kandis, Andrea Bauer, Hunter Smith, Jenna Smith, Ramello Derr, and Ava and Lyla Skender; one great-great granddaughter, Magnolia Jane Kandis, and two additional great-great grandchildren on the way; a brother, Robert (Pat) Bruhn; a sister, Kathy (Angie) Bruhn Zarate, sister-in-law, Darla Joyce Yazombek; and several nieces and nephews. Private family funeral services will be held at Halcyon Hills Cemetery, with Peter Bortz officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the Wilson's Funeral Home, 920National Road, Bridgeport, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care, 100 Welday Avenue, Wintersville, Ohio 43953.
