Dorothy I. Litman, 94 of St. Clairsville formerly of Bridgeport passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Park Health Center. She was born September 27, 1927, in Martins Ferry, the daughter of the late James R. and Ethel Mae (Bennett) Pyle.

Dorothy was a devoted wife and mother and a member of the First Christian Church of Martins Ferry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin D. Litman Sr., grandson Dale Allen Green, siblings; William and James Pyle, June Miller, and Alice Smith.

She is survived by her children; Melvin (Dorothy) Litman of Bridgeport, OH, Frank (Judy) Oden of Florence, KY, Susan (Allen) Green of Bridgeport, OH and Dolores Gleaves of Martins Ferry, OH, 6 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren complete the family.

Family and friends will be received Thursday, April 14, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, OH. Funeral service will be Friday, April 15, 2022, at 11am with Rev. Rod Kasler officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
