Obituary

SHRIEVE, Dorothy June Krinke, 84, of Dillonvale, Ohio, passed on her birthday September 2, 2012 at Park Health, St. Clairsville, Ohio. She was born in Mount Pleasant on September 2, 1928, a daughter of the late John C. and Mabel Kithcart Krinke. Dorothy was a retired Music and Elementary Teacher with St. Clairsville Public Schools, lifetime member and organist of the Pleasant Grove UMC. She earned her bachelor's degree from West Liberty and Master's degree from WVU. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: John Louis Krinke and Joseph Kithcart Krinke, and a stepsister Jessie McCartney. Dorothy is survived by two sons: Harry J. Shrieve (Sondra) of Martins Ferry, Ohio, Tracy L. Shrieve (Beth) of Jacobsburg, Ohio; two daughters: Janet Blinco (Wayne) of Jacobsburg, Lydia Brunstetter (Fred) St. Clairsville; a brother, Robert Krinke (Gladys) of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters: Joanne Ramsey of Richmond, Ohio and Kay Zimmerman of Phoenix, AZ., eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio. Visitation will then continue on Thursday September 6, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, 73599 Pleasant Grove Road, Dillonvale, Ohio 43917.
