Dorothy B. Rager, 82, of Brilliant, OH, died October 18th, 2018 at Acuity Specialty Hospital in Weirton, WV.  She was born October 23, 1935, in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late John and Barbara (Topocik) Simkanin.  Dorothy was a retired sales representative for Steubenville Fruit, was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, the AARP, Mingo Senior Center, Shanagu Club, and the Democratic Federated Women's Club.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Franklin Gooch, great-grandson, John Gooch, and brother, John Simkanin.   Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (John) Gunn of Spartansburg, SC., Patricia A.
