Dorothy K. Starr, 89, of Barnesville, Ohio, went to her eternal home to be with her Lord, March 7, 2013 at Walton Retirement Home. She was born in Jackson, Ohio, December 3, 1923, daughter of the late John and Florence (Moore) McGhee. Dorothy was a devout Christian, teaching Sunday School in Milan, Michigan for many years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and fishing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Starr; three sisters; four brothers; and niece, Norma Jean McGhee Lucas. Dorothy is survived by nieces, Patty (Jack) Burcher, Mary Jo (Jim) Moore, Mellissa Brown all of Barnesville, Ohio, and Theresa (Van) Warner of Senecaville, Ohio; and nephews, Gregory Allan Swallie of Plain City, Ohio, Bradley Gene Swallie of Thornville, Ohio, Chris Swallie of Ashville, Ohio, and Pat Swallie of Barnesville, Ohio.
