Dorothy Louise Subasic, 91, of Bridgeport, OH passed away February 2, 2017 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born August 19, 1925, in Bridgeport, OH, a daughter of the late Paul and Blanche (Huston) Coss. She was a member of the Kirkwood United Methodist Church, Bridgeport Fire Department Women's Auxiliary, and the AARP in Bridgeport. Dorothy loved playing bunco, watching sports, shopping, eating out, and most of all spending time with family and friends. The Pirates, Steelers, Penguins, Nailers, Buckeyes, Mountaineers, and Bulldogs lost their number one fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Subasic in 1974; brother, Thomas Coss; sisters, Wilma Lofton and Cleo Kemp. Dorothy is survived by her children; Paul (Sharon) Subasic, Mark (Joanne) Subasic, and Barbara (Bruce) Ruthers, all of Bridgeport; Grandchildren; Ross (Kate) Subasic of St. Clairsville, Brooke (Ron) Syrylo of Bridgeport, Brady (Bethany) Ruthers of Grove City, Joey Subasic and his fiancAC. Ashley of Bethany, Krystin Subasic and her fiancAC. Cody of Martins Ferry, Erin (Brian) Porterfield of St. Clairsville, and Bobby (Connie) Chedester of Virginia; great-grandchildren, Morgan (Todd) Bevan, Claire and Jack Subasic, Penelope Ruthers, Brantley and Brilyn Porterfield, and Beckett Chedester; brother, Charles Coss of St. Clairsville; several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Friends will be received Monday, February 6th from 2p.m. until 7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912. Friends will also be received Tuesday from 10a.m. until time of service at 11a.m. with Reverend James Hoff officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.
