Dorothy B. (Young) Creamer, 89, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH died Fri., Feb. 27, 2004 at Bell Nursing Home, Morristown, OH. She was born July 20, 1914 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Frank R. and Maude (Lilly) Young. She was formerly with the Times Leader Newspaper and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Martins Ferry, OH. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Creamer, a grandson Kent Creamer, three brothers Fred, Robert, and Thomas Young, and two sisters Virginia Kildow and Lora Shriver. Surviving are a daughter Carol Suriano and her husband Frank of Martins Ferry, a son Wayne W. "Wally" Creamer and his wife Pat of Chagrin Falls, OH, two sisters Betty Roth and husband Richard of Martins Ferry and Blanche Glavaris of St. Clairsville, three grandchildren Kelly Suriano Wolske, Nicole Slogar, and Kyle Creamer, and two great grandchildren. Friends will be received Sun. 12-3 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Mon., Mar. 1, 2004 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Thomas N. Thomas officiating. Entombment follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
