Obituary

Dotty Ann Baker 65 of Bridgeport, formerly of Martins Ferry passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at WVU Medicine – Wheeling Hospital.  She was born on March 13, 1958, in Martins Ferry the daughter of the late Dortha V. Baker.

Dotty was a member of I.A.T.S.E #63, working in the entertainment industry as a stagehand/technician.  She was employed at the Capital Music Hall and WesBanco Arena, worked for many years at the Times Leader, member of the First Baptist Church of Martins Ferry, and served as a Troop Leader for the Boy Scouts of America.  She was a huge fan of the WWE wresting universe and the Wheeling Nailer Hockey League.  She loved music, and singing and was a member of the church choir.  She was a lady of many talents and interest; however, her greatest joy and pride came from spending time with her family.

Dotty was preceded in death by her mother, Dortha V. Baker in 2014.

Left to cherish her memory is the love of her life and partner, Terry Hartline, sons, David (Georgia) Baker of Dillonvale, Cavan (Sarah) Hartline of Bridgeport, grandchildren, Veronica, James, Vanessa and Dominick Baker, Trinity, Clarissa, Tayevyn, Rayleigh and Mila Hartline.
