Drake Anthony Hicks-Strope, 20, of Bridgeport, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025, in his home. He was born on July 7, 2004, in Martins Ferry, a son of Ryan and Stephanie (Mussard) Strope. Drake was employed by Jennmar Services where he was a Roof Control Engineer and was a coalminer, he also loved cars.

He is survived by his parents; a sister, Ariyauna Strope; a brother, Logan Strope; paternal grandparents, John, and Donna Strope; maternal grandparents, Dale, and Rhonda Mussard; and many aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.

Friends will be received Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 pm with Reverend William Fulton officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Camp-Knokoma, 361 Patterson Dr. #284, Morgantown, WV  26505 in Drake's memory.
