Obituary

Dravius Thomas Jackson Taylor born Oct. 22, 2010, the mightiest man of God, went to be with the Lord Sept. 29, 2012. Our little warrior fought a long hard battle and is now at peace, running and playing in heaven where he is loved beyond all measure. His family, parents, grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, brother, sisters, cousins, friends, Doctors, Nurses, and Medical Staff have prayed and believed in "Drae". The power of motherhood and fatherhood is unsurpassed with unconditional love by mother Gretchen Hall Taylor and father Zach Taylor of Bridgeport, OH, twin sister Zuri Florabeth, big sister Damara, and big brother Darien are blessed to have this little one in their lives. Surviving in addition to his immediate family include; grandmother Judy Hall of Wheeling, WV, grandmother Maggie Knight and her husband Greg Knight of Glen Easton, WV, grandfather Mike Taylor and his wife Cassie of Moundsville, WV, great grandparents; Liz and Thomas Taylor of Moundsville, WV, great grandparents; Jane and Charles Crow of Glen Easton, WV. "Pappy" Dave Hall was waiting in heaven with open arms to receive his little grandson. Dravius was able to spend part of his young life in his family's home. His generation is the 5th to live in the Edmundson home built by Thomas Edmundson, Drae's great great grandfather. Friends will be received Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, from 4 - 7 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held at 7:00 pm with Pastor's Dawn Noble and Jim Adams officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Dravius Taylor Trust Fund at Wesbanco, 1 Bank Plaza, Wheeling, WV 26003. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this page.
