Obituary

Duane B. Randolph 90 of Bridgeport, died Saturday December 1, 2012 at East Ohio Regional Hospital Martins Ferry. He was born April 4, 1922 in Mount Pleasant, a son of the late William E. and Ariska (Jones) Randolph. He was employed at Y&O Coal Company until he went to the service in 1943. He was a retired employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, a member of the Wayman AME Church Wheeling, a veteran of WW II in the US Army, and a member of the American Legion Post #89 Wheeling. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his life long companion Eunice H. Asbury, a daughter Joyce Asbury brothers William, Dwight, and Paul Randolph, a sister Priscilla Randolph. Duane is survived by a son James Asbury of Bridgeport, a sister Constance Randolph of St. Paul MN, two granddaughters Dene Marie Rivera, and Danielle Asbury, a great granddaughter Malia Rivera, two nephews James Randolph of St. Paul MN, and Robert Asbury of Bridgeport. Friends are invited to a celebration of life on Wednesday December 5, 2012 from 11 am till time of service at 1 pm at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside, with Rev. Brandon A. J. J. Davis and Deacon Wayne Price officiating, interment in Highland Cemetery Mt. Pleasant, Ohio. Full Military services will be conducted by the Belmont County Honor Guard of the WFW on Wednesday December 5, 2012 at 12:45 at the Funeral Home.
