Duane C. " Dewey" Rose 72 of Colerain died Monday October 18, 2010 in Cumberland Pointe Nursing Home St. Clairsville. He was born August 17, 1938 in Colerain, a son of the late Ralph and Virginia Wilson Rose. He was a retired School Teacher for John Marshal High School where he taught Auto- Body, a member of NRA, VFW, American Legion, the Upper Ohio Valley H.O.G. Club, the Bridgeport Eagles #995, and an avid bike rider. In addition to his parents Dewey was preceded in death by his beloved wife Sylvia R. (Waite) Rose. Surviving are his uncle Charles E. Wilson, and several cousins. Friends will be received at the Colerain Presbyterian Church Friday October 22, 2010 from 11 am till time of service at 1 pm, with Reverend John Brown officiating. Entombment in Holly Memorial Gardens Pleasant Grove. In Lue of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Upper Ohio Valley H.O.G. Club.
