Coach Bubba Coleman, 47, of S. 8th St., Martins Ferry, OH died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010 at Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV. He was born Jan. 29, 1962 in Martins Ferry a son of David Coleman and Karen (Austin) Roby both of Martins Ferry. He was a Teacher Assistant and Coach for Martins Ferry School District. Bubba was a member of the Tree of Live Church, Martins Ferry. He was preceded in death by two brothers David and Daniel Coleman, and a sister Lynn Raye Coleman. Surviving in addition to his parents are his step-father Victor Green of Martins Ferry, his wife Dawn (Aubrey) Coleman, four children Belida Coleman, Rachelle Robinson, Bryce Coleman, and Malyah Coleman all of Martins Ferry, three brothers C.R. Coleman of Lancaster, OH, Mikale Roby, and Greg Roby both of Martins Ferry, and a grandson Izayah. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH. A Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010 at 1:00 at the First Christian Church, Martins Ferry with Ministers Rod Kasler and Jim Agnew officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
