EARL E. PALMER, 66, of Howard St., Bridgeport, died Monday, December 28, 2009 at Valley Hospice Care Center South, Liza's Place, in Wheeling. He was born July 8, 1943 in Stewartsville, Ohio, the son of the late John and Lenea (Ady) Palmer. He retired from the McElroy Coal Mine in Moundsville. Earl is survived by his loving companion of 20 years, Rhonda (McMasters) Stewart; a son, Joe Palmer of Bridgeport; and four daughters, Jackie Bowers of Bridgeport, Debbie Cook and her husband Bill of Columbia, SC, Donna Doty and her husband Jay of Hilton Head, SC and Alishia Martin and her husband David of Bridgeport, eight grandchildren and one great grandson. Earls' wishes were to have private services at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, with Pastor James Hoff officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
