Ed R. Conaway 64 of Bridgeport, died Thursday December 6, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born February 20, 1948 in Wheeling, a son of Helen (Stanchina) Conaway, and the late Arthur R. Conaway. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a sister Helen Marie Holdaway. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Wolfhurst, a US Army Veteran in Vietnam, the Lansing Sportsman Club, the Bridgeport Foresters Club, American Legion Post 0888 Delaware Md, and the St. Clairsville Eagles. In addition to his mother of Bridgeport Ed is survived by his fiancé Juanita Guy, a daughter Renee (Gabriel) George of Blaine, a grandson Noah George, brothers Arthur "Butch" (Betty) Conaway of Bridgeport, and Richard "Dick" (Genny) Conaway of Blaine, also many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to a celebration of Ed's life on Sunday December 9, 2012 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside.
