Obituary

Edith I. (Copper) Armbruster, 89, of Martins Ferry, OH, died Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Belmont Manor Nursing Home, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born in Wheeling, WV on July 30, 1929 a daughter of the late Albert and Pearl (Nolte) Copper.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings; Harry Copper and Albert Copper, Jr. and Alice Kolmerten. Edith was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church of Martins Ferry.
Surviving are her husband, John E. "Jack" Armbruster, Jr., a daughter, Jeanie (Art) Hersey of Gahanna, OH, and a son, Don (Margie) Armbruster of Coolville, OH, grandchildren; Mason and Lura Armbruster and Abby and Megan Hersey.
Family and friends will be received at Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH, Wednesday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, October 4, 2018, from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tina Siroki officiating. Burial follows in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Alzheimer's Foundation, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
