Edith M. (Fleming) Deitch, 89, of William St., Yorkville, OH died Mon., Jun. 25, 2007 at the home of her granddaughter in Canton, GA. She was born Feb. 21, 1918 in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late George and Lillie M. (Mills) Fleming. She was a retired nurse from Martins Ferry Hospital, and a member of the Tiltonsville United Methodist Church and also the women church group. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence W. Deitch, a brother Richard Fleming, and her son-in-law Walter Pettit. Surviving are her daughter Deanna Pettit of Yorkville, OH, three grandchildren Mark (Kay) Pettit of Wedowee, Al, Misty (Vince) Tedeschi of Canton, GA, and Matthew (Darlene) Pettit of Woodstock, Ga, and three great grandchildren Tanner Tedeschi, Tye Tedeschi, and Jeff Moore. Friends will be received Fri., 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Sat., Jun., 30, 2007 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Donald Upson officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
