Edith M. Johnson 87, of Wheeling died Friday January 13, 2012 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born June 15, 1924 in Wheeling, a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Filcaske) Bauman. She was a retired supervisor for Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Wheeling, a Methodist, a Graduate of Wheeling High School Class of 1942; she was still active in her Lunch Bunch Group of Wheeling High Class of "42". In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Kelsey E. Johnson in 2000, brothers Carl "Butch", Joseph, and George Bauman, sisters Wilma Board, and Ruth Strader. Edith is survived by a son; Laughlin "Lock" (Ginny) Johnson of Wheeling,a dughter; Edith "Nickie" (Ron) Blazina of Defiance MO., a sister; Helen (Jim) Krob of Lansing, a sister-in-law; Betty Bauman of Scottsdale AZ., a brother-in-law; Art Strader of Ann Arbor MI., three grandchildren; Heather Marie Johnson, Kelann (Darrell) Janesak, and Eric (Dana) Blazina, a great grandson; Luke Harris Janesak, also numerous nieces and nephews. Members of the family will receive friends at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside Monday January 16, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am with Rev.
