Edith Faye Pickens, 71, of Martins Ferry, Ohio, passed Tuesday November 14, 2017 at Valley Hospice South, Liza's Place. She was born in Woodsfield, OH, on April 5, 1946, a daughter of the late Stanley Efaw and Vivian Whitlatch. She was a retired employee of the American Legion in Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Evert and Charlie Efaw. Edith is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Ronald Pickens, sons: Ronald Joseph Pickens (Cammie) of Bellaire, Ted Andrew Pickens of Flushing, Michael Shawn Pickens of Elm Grove, WV; grandchildren: Marissa, Seth, Corey, Justin, Ashley, Matthew, Brandon, Megan, Harley, Logan, Lucas; great-grandchildren: Brandon, Hagen, Madisen, Ava, Hayden, Alex, Piper, Camryn, Payton and Brandon. Friends will be received Friday 5 to 8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where services will be held Saturday November 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
