Edna V. Beam, 78, of Bridgeport, OH, died Tuesday June 22, 2010 at Heartland-Lansing Care Center. She was born June 21, 1932 in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of the late John A. and Virginia (Palmer) VanDyne. Edna was a member of the Lansing Methodist Church and a Homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Beam; a son Lenny Beam; a Granddaughter Jessica Beam; a brother and two sisters. She is survived by a son John Beam and his wife Cynthia of Caseyville, IL; four daughters Mary Kay Carter and her husband Gary of Espanola, NM, Lottie Williams and her husband Don of Swansea, IL, Judy Shelton and her husband Rodney of Waco, TX, Martha Geyer and her husband Brian of Lemington, ME; and a sister Mary and her husband Ross A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Saturday June 26, 2010 at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, OH with Richard Rothermund Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, OH.
