Edward L. Blinco, 84, of S. Third, Martins Ferry, OH died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. He was born Oct. 7, 1928 in Martins Ferry a son of the late Frank and Ethel L. (Graham) Blinco. He was retired from Nickles Bakery, Martins Ferry. Edward was a member of the Redmen Club Tribe #75, former Eagles Lodge Aerie #456 and the VFW all of Martins Ferry. He was also a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife Ethel (Richmond) Blinco, two brothers; Irvin and Howard Blinco and two grandsons; Roger Blinco, Jr. and Sean Lyons. Surviving are his sons; Roger A. Blinco, Sr. and Frank (Christine) Blinco both of Martins Ferry, Mark Richmond of Ft. Wayne, IN, Alfred Gray of Canton, OH his daughters; Jackie (Chuck) Lyons of Martins Ferry and Sandra Gray Morris of Martins Ferry, grandchildren; Frank and Brad Blinco, Christle, and Jimmy Blinco and Eric and Nathan Lyons, and great grandchildren; Katie Blinco Young, Samantha Blinco Young and Ella Lyons. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry where services will be held Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at 11:00 am with Rev, Thomas N. Thomas officiating. Burial follows in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH. Military honors will be presented by the Belmont County V.F.W. Honor Guard at 10:45 am at the funeral home prior to the funeral. Condolences to the family may be made by signing the guest book at the top of this page.
