Edward William Gorby Sr., 76, of Bridgeport, Ohio, passed Thursday January 11, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. He was born in Moundsville, WV on November 27, 1941, a son of the late Edward and Mary Regiec Gorby. Edward was a retired employee of Bayer Chemical, a U.S. Army Veteran, an avid Bowler and a Catholic by faith. Edward is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sally Ann (Skvarka) Gorby, sons: Edward William Gorby (Tammy) of McMechen, WV, Steven Allen Gorby (Megan) of Butler, PA, brother James Regiec of Moundsville, a sister Phyllis Hanselman (George) of Egg Harbour, NJ. and ten grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday January 16, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, with Rev. John Mucha officiating. Interment will be private at Halcyon Hills Cemetery.
