EDWARD K. KOLB, SR., 92, of Bridgeport, died Sunday, May 25, 2008 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born April 5, 1916 in Lansing, Ohio, the son of the late Henry and Lena (Winzenreid) Kolb. Edward was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Brookside, and was the owner of the family dairy farm in Bridgeport. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Leoma (Jenkins) Kolb; five brothers and two sisters. Edward is survived by a son Edward Kolb, Jr. and his wife Leanna of Bridgeport; a daughter Edie Rector and her husband Wayne of Adena; a sister Louise Sand of Brookville, Ohio; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. In accordance with Edward's wishes, his funeral services and interment were private.
