Edward A. Krone, 63, of Colerain, OH died Thursday., July 29, 2010 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, OH. He was born Dec. 5, 1946 in Martins Ferry, a son of the late Gilbert and Mary (Feachen) Krone. He retired from the Plumbers & Steamfitters Union Local #83 and the Moundsville Post Office. Ed was a member of American Legion Post #38 of Martins Ferry and a veteran of the U.S. Marines, Vietnam War. Surviving are his wife Linda L. (Deitch) Krone, two sons Jeff (Dana Rolling) Krone of Maynard, OH, and Brian Krone of Colerain, a daughter Courtney (Jason) Wodarcyk of St. Clairsville, a brother Gil (Joan) Krone of Grandville, OH, a sister Connie (Jerry) Donahue of Canton, OH, and four grandchildren Dylan, Brittany, Jay and Kody. Friends will be received Sunday 12-3 & 6-8 pm at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Aug. 2, 2010 at 11:00 am with Mary Hughes officiating. Burial follows at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Military honors will be presented at the funeral home prior to services by the Belmont County Council of the American Legion.
