PEYTON, Edward Lee, 85, of Bridgeport, Ohio, died Sunday October 10, 2010 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling. He was born in Bridgeport on December 14, 1924, a son of the late Edward and Margaret McDaniels Peyton. Edward was a retired employee of Peterson Hospital as Chief Maintenance Engineer; an avid photographer and a member of the Woodcarvers of Wheeling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: William Joseph Peyton and Henry Felix Peyton. Edward is survived by five sisters: Mary Meyers and her husband William of Martins Ferry, Ohio, Loretta Ludwig of Maynard, Ohio, Jane Miscencik and her husband Andrew of Cleveland, Ohio, Jean Vargas of Bridgeport, Ohio and Betty Peyton of Steubenville, Ohio; also many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, Ohio, where services will be held Thursday at 11:00a.m. October 14, 2010 with Reverend David Demarest, officiating.
