Edward Joseph Sambuco, Jr. 85 of Mt. Pleasant passed away peacefully Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Sienna Hills Nursing Center.  He was born November 19, 1938, the son of the late Edward J. and Julia (Szabo) Sambuco.

Ed retired from the Y & O Mining as a superintendent and Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corporation.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years Sandra (Walker) Sambuco in 2019, son David Sambuco, daughter Caroline Kaye Luli, son in law Boots Kubat.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Edward (Mary) Sambuco and Melanie Kubat, brother Errol C. (Mary Edith) Sambuco, sister, Stephanie (Geno) Buonamici, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews complete the family.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 2-8pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second Street, Dillonvale, OH 43917. Funeral Services will be Thursday, November 30, at 11am at the funeral home, burial to follow at Holly Memorial Garden, Pleasant Grove.
