ELDA RIZZI BARCALOW, 84, of Bridgeport, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at her home. She was born April 12, 1923, in Superior, Wyo., the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Battlocletti Rizzi. Elda was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Barcalow; three brothers, Frank, Victor, and Arthur Rizzi; and a sister, Adeline Souillard. Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Gloria Barcalow of Bridgeport, Beverly Amadio and her husband, Lou, of Columbus, Ohio, and Kathy Haggerty and her husband, Don, of Tiltonsville, Ohio; a sister, Jean Pollock of Martins Ferry, Ohio; four grandsons, David Amadio, Derek and Ryan Haggerty and Chad Ollom. Elda was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be Friday 3-8 p.m., at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father John Mucha as the celebrant. Entombment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Pleasant Grove.
