Eleanor Mae (Fortney) Beafore, 78, of Bridgeport, Ohio died Friday, May 13, 2011 at Forest Hills Nursing Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio. She was born in Blaine, Ohio on February 28, 1933, daughter of the late Donald and Victoria (Pass) Davis. Eleanor was a teacher for Bridgeport Exempted Village School District, a member of the Lansing United Methodist Church, and the Women's club. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Joe Beafore. Eleanor is survived by her son Douglas Beafore and his wife Mary of Pleasant Grove, Ohio, two daughters: Beverly Tomolonis and her husband Stanley of Bridgeport, and Melissa Beafore of Sarasota, Fla., four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, where services will be held Wednesday May 18, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev.
