Eleanor R. (Hochstrasser) Heskett, 84, of Ivy Ln., Martins Ferry, OH died Fri., Feb. 4, 2005 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. She was born Oct. 2, 1920 in Bellaire, OH a daughter of the late Harold and Catherine (Lucas) Hochstrasser. She was retired from the City of Martins Ferry Community Development Department and a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Martins Ferry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters Clara Dankworth, Kathryn Hadley, and Betty Bennett. Surviving are her husband Robert L. Heskett, two brothers Clyde Hochstrasser of St. Clairsville, and Harold Hochstrasser of Clearwater, FL, a sister Etta Benesh of Bellaire, two brothers-in-law Charles Dankworth and Ralph Hadley both of Bellaire, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sun. 12-3 & 6-8 PM at the Heslop Funeral Home, Walnut at Fifth, Martins Ferry, OH where services will be held Mon., Feb. 7, 2005 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dr. Bill N. Lawrence officiating. Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio University Eastern Campus, 45425 National Rd., St. Clairsville, OH 43950.
