Eleanor JoAnn (Raber) Crook, 88, of Flushing, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023, in her home.  She was born in Metz, WV on August 12, 1935, a daughter of the late Arley and Doris (Wilson) Raber.  Eleanor was Methodist by faith and enjoyed baking, camping and spending time with her family and friends.  She was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and WVU Mountaineer's fan.

She is survived by a daughter, JoEllen McKeeta; a son, Keith Crook; two brothers, Craig and Jr Raber; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews; and three dear lifelong friends, Sandy, Sis and Beverly.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence D. Crook Sr.; three sons, Roger, Lawrence and Kevin Crook; three brothers, Jack, Glen and Dwight; and two sisters, Beulah and Neva.

Friends may call Friday from 11 am to 12 pm, in the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside.  Funeral services will be held Friday at 12 pm in the funeral home with Pastor James Hoff officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
